Pocket Power is an Android game published by Mody Associates and presented by Fun Fat Studios. It is a single-player circuit puzzle: you rotate wires, wake robots and restore a town. This notice describes exactly what the game does with your information, and what it does not do.
Summary
The game is playable entirely offline and has no accounts of its own. Your progress is stored on your device. If you choose to connect Google Play Games, your progress can also be saved to your own Google account so it follows you between devices, and achievements can be published to your Play Games profile. There is no third-party analytics, no advertising, no crash-reporting SDK and no server run by us.
What the game stores on your device
| Data | Where | Removed by |
|---|---|---|
| Progress: levels completed, best move counts, daily puzzle results, unfinished puzzles | Local database on your device | Settings → Reset all progress…, clearing app data, or uninstalling |
| Free Play bookkeeping (recent puzzle fingerprints, session counter) | Local database on your device | Same as above |
| Settings: music, sound effects, haptics, reduce-motion choice, coaching seen | Local preference store on your device | Clearing app data or uninstalling |
| Purchase state: whether the one-time full-game unlock is owned, when it was last verified, and the price text Play returned | Local preference store on your device | Same as above; nothing is sent to us |
| Queued achievement unlocks (if Play Games is not connected yet) | Local preference store on your device | Same as above |
Google Play Games (optional)
- Connecting is your choice. The game never requires it: without it you play as a guest and everything works except cross-device sync and achievements.
- When connected, the game reads your Play Games player ID and display name to show who is signed in.
- Progress is stored as a Google Play Games Saved Games snapshot in your own Google account — the same mechanism other Play Games titles use. It contains your progress document (levels, daily results, unfinished puzzles, counters) and nothing else: no name, no email, no contact list, no location, no advertising identifier.
- If two devices disagree, the game merges them in place: completed levels are joined, best results are kept, counters are never added together. The sync panel tells you what it did.
- Achievements are published to your Play Games profile when a milestone is reached, and can be queued locally until the app is online again.
- Data held by Google Play Games is also covered by Google's own privacy policy, and you can disconnect the game from your account in the Play Games app or your Google account settings.
Purchases
The full game is unlocked with a single one-time purchase handled entirely by Google Play Billing. The game never sees your payment details. It asks Play for the product and its localised price, verifies the purchase on the device, acknowledges it, and remembers only that the unlock is owned (with the time it was verified) so it still works offline. The purchase is never consumed, so it restores on any device signed in to the same Google account and can be re-checked with Restore purchase.
What the game does not do
- No analytics SDK, no crash-reporting SDK, no advertising SDK, and no advertising identifier. The game contains no ads at all.
- No location, camera, microphone, contacts, files or storage permissions are requested (the app declares only network access, Play Billing, and vibrate for haptics you can switch off).
- No custom account or sign-up, no email address, no password.
- No purchase tokens or player identifiers are transmitted to us — we operate no server to receive them.
- Daily puzzles are bundled with the game rather than fetched, so there is no server call for "today's puzzle", and there is no global leaderboard that would require your results to leave your device.
Network use
The game declares the INTERNET permission because Google Play Games and Google Play Billing need it. Those are the only network uses: signing in to Play Games, loading and saving your cloud snapshot, publishing achievements, and talking to Play about the one-time purchase. The puzzles themselves never need a connection — Free Play puzzles are generated on your device and daily puzzles ship with the app.
Children's privacy
Pocket Power is a puzzle game suitable for all ages. It has no chat, no user-generated content, no advertising and no social features, and it collects no personal information of its own. The optional Play Games connection is subject to Google's own age requirements for your account.
Your choices
- Play without connecting anything: ignore the Play Games prompt; the game stays in guest mode with local progress.
- Delete your progress: Settings → Reset all progress… erases levels, daily results, unfinished puzzles and statistics, and marks the cloud snapshot so an older save cannot bring them back. It is deliberately not reversible.
- Stop cloud sync: use the sign-in control in the game's settings to end the in-app session, or remove the game from your Play Games account.
- Turn off sound or vibration: both are settings in the game, and the Android system settings work too.
Security
Progress is stored in the app's private storage. Cloud snapshots are held in your Google account and transferred by Google Play Games. The game's local purchase record contains no payment information — only the fact that Play confirmed the purchase, and when.
Changes to this notice
If a future version of Pocket Power adds anything that collects data (for example crash reporting), this notice will be updated first, the Play listing's Data Safety section will be updated with it, and the change will be described in the release notes. The current version collects nothing for us to receive.
